Are you sure it is servers and not router issues?
Not the cheapest - my recommendation would be Memset.com for Dedicated servers (not the cheapest but excellent support)

@ryan - Unfortunately I do not think that any hosts are offering BlazeDS yet. However, there are plenty of hosts that offer Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere hosting. This would only leave the deployment of BlazeDS. A simple search for “tomcat hosting” reveals many options. I haven’t used any of these, so you would probably want to ask others who have used them.

i’m looking at developing an app with blazeds but taking a look at server hosting plans and who how i set up tomcat is a bit of a mystery to me? does anybody know of a host that specificly supports it, or would i have to just get a root account and install and look after the puppy myself?

a bit off topic but, some help would be great…

Hi,

We have been using viaverio.com for 10 years and have been so impressed with the technology and service that we moved all our accounts to their servers.

They are a US-based company which was purchased by the global japanese telecom (NTT) a few years ago. Since then, we have been able to order/set up VPS accounts in minutes in Virginia, California, Japan, and Germany.

A nice feature of their plans is no limits on monthly traffic.

I’ve had great luck with HostMySite. I’ve set up multiple dedicated boxes with them, and my own site uses one of their virtual dedicated plans. Their service has been good both on the sales side (I went from filling in the online form to online in like 2 hours for my VPS) and on the support side (If you call, you’ll normally get a real person pretty quickly who has more than half a brain).
