Blog Milestone - My 1,000th Spam Comment

I have been blogging now for about seven months. I never would have guessed that I would have gotten to the 1,000th spam comment so fast. I forgot to pinpoint exactly which message was the 1,000th, but I have a hunch it had something to do with Viagra.

Way to go Akismet.

    Count yourself lucky… I’ve been using WordPress for about 2 years now, and up until I installed a Captcha plugin, Askimet was working flat out… 34,788 spam caught in about 18 months. I’ll leave you to work out how many a day that is!

    By the way, great tutorials on Cairngorm! Please keep them coming! :)
